1. The battery.
Battery is one of main supply of electric current for energy required by the system.
It does not, however store electricity. The energy is stored in chemical form. When a
connection is made from the battery to the Audio system circuit, a chemical action
takes place inside the battery and allow a flow of electrons, which we called as electric
current.

The standard voltage is 12 volts. Car storage battery consists of 6 cells connected in
series. Cells are nade of acid proof compartment, into which the battery element is
installed.
Battery standard rating capacity:
It is rated according to the length of time they will deliver current, at a slow and fast
discharge rate. In technical terms as Ampere-hours(Ah) rate. The minimum rate for
normal passenger car is 45Ah.
In car Audio system arrangement, we should arrange the balance condition between
Audio, Air conditioning, lighting system current demand, battery capacity and charging
capacity. Unbalance system will cause deficit of battery storage capacity, and effecting
the cranking power of the engine starting system.
